What is CLAT?
The common law admission test [CLAT] is a national level entrance exam for admission to under graduate[UG] and postgraduate[PG] law programmes offered by 22 national law universities around the country. CLAT is organized by consortium of national law universities consisting of the representative universities. Most private and self-financed law admission.
CLAT UG ELIGIBLITY:
Candidate who are general/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories, must have secured 45% aggregate marks or its equivalent in their qualifying examination.
Candidates belonging from SC/ST categories, must have secured 40% aggregate or its equivalent.
Candidates can attempt CLAT exam with no limit on their attempts.
Candidate who are Indian national/NRIs/PIO/OCI are eligible to appear foe CLAT 2021 exam.

CLAT SYLLABUS:

WAYS TO PREPARE FOR CLATGK:
CLAT examination there are 150 questions. CLAT exam includes 35-39 questions in General Knowledge section which includes Static GK and Current Affairs. It is a crucial section as it helps in saving time during the examination. You can utilize this and allocate the time to other section during the examination. Current affairs essentially include major happening out in the mainstream media over a year. In case of Static GK it can comes from any sphere of life. The target should at least be 30 out of 39 questions.
Looking at last 5 years the coverage of Current Affairs in the GK Section has been increasing every year. The major topics covered were international news, government & politics, sports, science & technology. Legal GK is covered a lot in the Legal Aptitude sections.
At least devote 1 hour of your day for GK. Earlier you may take more time to read but when gradually it won’t need more than an hour. Most of the student feel they are familiar with the topic but don’t recollect the answer. For this they need to revise regularly at least spend 20 to 30 minutes to go through previous notes.
HOW TO IMPROVE REASONING IN CLAT EXAM:
Logical section of CLAT compromises of 35-39 questions. It is comparatively most scoring section in CLAT. If properly practiced one can complete the logical section within 25 minutes. Topics of logical reasoning are quite diverse. The purpose of this section is to test the logical capabilities and understanding of the aspirant. This section includes Critical reasoning and logical reasoning The topics included are Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Blood relation, Syllogism, Para Jumbles, Direction, etc. Practice is the key to increase the accuracy in the logical section. Students can improve their thinking capabilities only through regular practice.
