XAT - The Xavier Aptitude Test is a national level aptitude test conducted by
XLRI Jamshedpur. The scores of the XAT will be used for admissions by XLRI
Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes and over 160
B-schools across the country. XAT 2022 exam is conducted on 2nd January 2022.
The XAT is a national level test conducted by the XLRI to select the most
appropriate candidates for management education from all over the country. The
institute has expertise in setting up the exam and then selecting the best
candidates for management studies. There are several other institutes which
consider XAT scores for their selection procedure. There are 150+ management
institutes which use XAT scores for their admission process. The XAT is a
three-hour long exam and it is the preliminary step towards applying to XLRI
and XAT Associate Institutes. Applicants applying to XAT Associate Institutes,
besides XLRI have to apply separately according to their choice. It is a
computer-based test and the questions are based on Verbal and Logical Ability
(VA & LR), Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Ability & Data
Interpretation (QA & DI), and General Knowledge (GK). The biggest change
for this year is there will be no Essay Writing section for XAT 2022.
What
is XAT eligibility?
Before filling out the
application form of the Xavier Aptitude Test, candidates are advised to go
through the XAT 2023 eligibility criteria. Details pertaining to the
educational qualification required marks, age limit, and related are mentioned
under the XAT eligibility criteria 2023. XLRI Jamshedpur predefined the
eligibility criteria of XAT which are given below.
The candidate must hold a
Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any
discipline from a recognized university.
Students in their final
year of their Bachelor's degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply.
There is no specific CGPA
or percentage mentioned that has to be obtained in the graduation. No age limit
has been specified to appear for XAT 2023.
One of the key points
prescribed by XLRI in XAT eligibility criteria is that the candidates
must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number
throughout the selection process.
Note- It must be noted that mere fulfillment of
minimum XAT eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting
by XLRI, SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT, TAPMI or other B-schools in which the applicant
applies for admission.

The XAT 2023 registration will commence from the first week of August
2022 in online mode. XAT registration last date will be in the last week of
November 2022. Candidates applying for XAT 2023 will have to pay XAT
registration fee of Rs 1800 which is the XAT exam fees for all categories
(General, SC, ST, PWD, OBC, etc.). Those interested in XLRI programmes have to
pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- each.

Who Conducts XAT Exam? Check Below
XLRI conducts XAT exam on behalf
of XAMI. For more than 70 years XLRI is conducting this exam at all India level
to select the most appropriate students for management education. XAT entrance
exam notification was released on August 9, 2021 with key exam dates and

Exam?
The candidates may know that XAT Exam is conducted only once every year. So, you will get only the opportunity to appear for this exam in a particular academic year. Additionally, the candidates can attempt XAT Exam any number of times as there are no restrictions on the number of attempts to appear for the XAT Exam.What type of What Questions are asked in XAT?
