The
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All
India Management Association (AIMA), for admissions to MBA and equivalent
programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD
approved MAT as a national level test. MAT is an objective test, designed
to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension,
mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical
reasoning, Indian and global environment. B-School, national and international
management colleges can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the
scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT will continue to be your passport to
over 600+ B-Schools across India.
Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA
undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing
services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management
Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS). AIMATS has the unique distinction of being
the first to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for the range of
services under its scope. AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students
in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance
exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission
in all management programs approved by AICTE. MAT is usually conducted four
times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of
February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities
across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.

Mode Of Test
(How to Take the test) NOTE : Candidate can opt for 2 IBT / PBT + IBT / 2 PBT /
CBT+IBT / PBT+CBT tests by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1125/- in addition to
Rs. 1850/-. Candidates can opting for 2 IBTs / PBT + IBT / 2 PBT / CBT+IBT /
PBT+CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes
for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5
Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

MAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
AIMA has prescribed the
MAT 2022 eligibility criteria for the candidates who are going to appear for
the MAT examination. The MAT eligibility criteria 2022 is the same for
IBT modes. MAT eligibility criteria comprise the academic qualifications, age
limit, and nationality which the candidates must check before they start
filling the application form.
To apply for
the examination, as per the MAT eligibility criteria 2022, a candidate must
have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute or
university.
Even final
year graduation students from any stream can apply for the exam. AIMA hasn’t
mentioned any age limit for the exam.
Interestingly,
one can appear for the exam as many times as he/she wants.
There is no
specific age limit for MAT 2022.

All India Management
Association (AIMA) commenced the MAT exam registration for IBT/ PBT/CBT mode
for the May session on March 29 in online mode. As per the schedule, the last
date for MAT registration 2022 for PBT and CBT schedule 1 is extended till May
10 while for PBT/CBT schedule 2, it is May 23. For IBT mode, AIMA will close
the MAT 2022 registration window for IBT on May 26.

Exam will constitute questions from 4 topics of Language Comprehension,
Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, and Indian & Global
Environment. You need to have a thorough knowledge of these sections and must
practice mock test papers to enhance your skills on these topics.
How many times can a person attend the MAT exam in a
year?
The AIMA or All India
Management Association conducts MAT 4 times every year and there is no limit to
individual attempts,so you can appear for MAT four times in a year,
However most of the top B schools consider only the
Dec or Feb edition of MAT so it is adviced to appear for the same
