WHAT IS BFA?
One of the most esteemed undergraduate degrees in visual arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) is the program which helps students gain skill , knowledge and experience in various field of art. This course includes sculpture, literature, animation , painting , different forms of art and other specialisation. Students can choose a specialization as per their area of interest in different field of art . BFA not only educates the students but also help them to enhance their skills and help to furnish the potential . Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is basically a three to four years programme which can be pursued through full time, part time or distance learning. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BFA
There is no fixed or rigid criteria for being eligiable to appear for BFA but some universities/ colleges may also demand the students with +2 from any recognised board with minimum aggregate percentage of 50% - 60% (not fixed). Apart from this, preference at the time of admission is sometimes given to candidates who have studied Arts/ Humanities in Class 12th and have some basic knowledge of the Fine Arts subject which they are looking to pursue along with some prescribed skillset and to take admission in some college enterance test is taken to eliminate students with no skills or less .

A Fine Arts course is usually pursued by students who have an artist and talent hidden in them. However, candidates who have a creative type of mind and an instinct towards visual or performing arts are a good fit for BFA course.
