AMU Entrance Exam 2022: Application Form (Released), Exam Dates (Out), Admission Process, Test Centres

 


 

AMU Entrance Exam 2022: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has started online applications for AMU entrance exam 2022 from April 26 onwards. AMU entrance exam 2022 will be held on different dates from June 30 to July 26 for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. AMU will also be accepting CUET 2022 for admission in BSc, B.Voc, BA and B.Com Courses. Candidates interested in admissions through CUET for AMU courses can apply before the last date i.e. May 22. The exam authority has not mentioned any last date of application for AMU entrance exam 2022 courses. The exam will held in offline mode across selected cities in India. The pattern of the entrance exam differs from course to course. Based on the marks of the candidates in the AMU entrance test, a merit list for admission is drawn. Counseling is conducted based on merit and seats are granted for admission in various courses respectively.




AMU Entrance Exam 2022 ApplicationForm

AMUEE 2022 application form is available on official website of AMU. The candidates have to fill out the online application form, and submit it with application fee. The process to apply for AMU entrance exam 2022 is as follow:

 

1.     Sign up with details like name, mobile number, email id, date of birth, etc.

2.     Login using your email and password. Your Dashboard will be available to you for filling out the form. 

3.     Single Registration is sufficient for applying to the multiple courses by a candidate.

4.     Before filling out the application form candidates must have the following ready.

·         Scanned copy of colored Photo with white background, Signature, and Thumb Impression (Left Hand Thumb Impression for every candidate) of the Candidate in JPG format ONLY. The file size of each should be less than 200KB.

·         Email address & Mobile number.

·         Online Banking details/Debit Card/Credit Card.

·         Details of qualifying examination

Application fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee in online mode through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. The fee differs from course to course and ranges from 450 to 850.

To take admission to AMU, candidates must know the selection process of the course they are applying for. Also, before that, they must know the eligibility criteria for the same too. Hence the eligibility criteria for AMU admission 2022 for all courses are given below:

AMUEE Admission Process 2022

 

·         Online application – Candidates fill and submit the application form for the AMU entrance exam in online mode at the official website of amucontrollerexams.com. The candidates also need to pay the application fee as per their courses.  

·         Issuing admit card – AMU will issue admit cards to candidates who registered and submitted the application form before the last date successfully. The admit card of AMUEE will mention details about the examination, candidates and the allotted test centre name and location.

·         Appearing for the test – Candidates have to appear for the examination at the allotted test centre as per the examination schedule.

·         Announcement of results – The University will declare the results of the AMU entrance exam for each course separately. The results will be available in the form of a merit list of qualified candidates as well as waitlisted candidates.

·         Counseling process – AMU will conduct the counseling process of each course based on merit lists and waitlists. The candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria, qualifying criteria and other requirements will be allotted seats.

 

AMUEE 2022 Pattern

The exam pattern of the AMU entrance exam differs from course to course. Although , all the admission tests and the departmental admission tests will be held in offline mode only. Candidates have to take the exams in OMR sheets. The medium of all tests will be English, except where a question paper is set in a language other than English.

Negative Marking: Incorrect answers will result in a negative score of 25 per cent of the marks allotted to the question. For example, if the correct answer to a question would get the candidate one mark, the incorrect answer would deduct 0.25 marks. However, the rule of negative marking will not be applicable in the admission tests of PhD and vocational courses under Community College.

 

AMUEE 2022 Admit Card

Aligarh Muslim University releases the admit card for the entrance exam to be held across the nation for admission to various courses. The admit cards are made available under the login of the candidates over the official website.

AMU issues admit card to appear in the admission / departmental test only to those candidates whose application form, complete in all respects, has been submitted successfully on the Controller’s website on or before the last date of filling. 

Candidates will also have to paste their recent passport size color photograph in the space provided on the hard copy of admit card. The photo must be the same as the one affixed on the application form (online). Via the admit card candidates will be allotted their exam centre with its detailed address and name.

In case there are errors in the admit card: The candidate should immediately contact the concerned application form handling office in case of any discrepancy in the admit card otherwise applicant can face problem on the exam centre.
